Journal of Global Economics (JoGE) maintains a strict advertising policy to ensure that all advertising materials are consistent with the journal’s mission, values, and ethical standards. This policy outlines the principles, criteria, and procedures governing the acceptance and display of advertisements within the journal’s platform.
1. General Principles
- All advertisements must be relevant to the field of economics, academia, research, or related disciplines.
- Advertisements must be truthful, lawful, and adhere to high ethical standards. They must not be misleading, deceptive, or offensive.
- The inclusion of advertisements does not imply endorsement by JoGE, its editorial board, or its affiliated institutions.
- Advertisements are kept separate from editorial content to maintain editorial independence and integrity.
2. Acceptable Advertising Categories
JoGE accepts advertisements related to:
- Academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Educational programs, courses, and training sessions.
- Books, journals, and other scholarly publications.
- Research grants, scholarships, and fellowships.
- Academic recruitment and job opportunities.
- Economic and financial services that contribute to research and development.
3. Unacceptable Advertising Categories
JoGE does not accept advertisements that:
- Promote discriminatory, offensive, or unethical content.
- Contain false or misleading claims.
- Endorse products or services that conflict with the journal’s mission and ethical standards.
- Violate intellectual property rights.
4. Review and Approval Process
- All advertising materials are subject to review and approval by the JoGE Editorial Board or an appointed Advertising Committee.
- Advertisers must submit materials at least 30 days before the intended publication date.
- JGE reserves the right to reject, discontinue, or remove any advertisement at its discretion without prior notice.
5. Placement and Display
- Advertisements may appear on the journal’s website, digital issues, newsletters, or promotional emails.
- Placement will be clearly distinguished from editorial content to avoid confusion.
6. Advertising Fees and Contracts
- Advertising fees are determined based on the type, duration, and placement of advertisements.
- Contracts outlining the terms and conditions of advertising must be signed by both the advertiser and JGE.
7. Complaints and Disputes
- Any complaints or concerns regarding advertisements should be directed to the journal’s Advertising Committee via email at jonharyono25@gmail.com
- Disputes will be resolved in accordance with the journal’s policies and ethical standards.
