Abstract

This environmental health education program aims to improve community understanding and skills in maintaining environmental health in remote areas. The methods used include counseling, training, mentoring, and evaluation applied to communities in several villages that have limited access to health information. The results of the study showed an increase in community knowledge and skills in managing household waste, implementing simple sanitation, and increasing access to environmental health information. However, challenges such as limited resources and lack of infrastructure support are still obstacles in the implementation of this program. Continuous efforts are needed to ensure that the implementation of environmental health principles can continue to run well.
